Cooperstown Environmental LLC Consulting Team Grows

Cooperstown Environmental is pleased to announce that Lisa Scott has joined the company as Project Geologist. Lisa graduated from Dartmouth College with a Master of Science in Geology. She previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Colgate University. Lisa, an Andover resident, previously worked as an environmental consultant in Vermont and Massachusetts conducting monitoring programs, completing permits, and evaluating clients’ needs and compliance with the environmental regulations. Most recently, she was employed by the Andover Public Schools.

At Cooperstown Environmental, Lisa will split her duties between the firm’s consulting engineering projects, assisting with the firm’s leading Massachusetts Brownfields Tax Credit consulting practice, sales and marketing, and administering general business operations. Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her children, and is an avid trail runner. She is a member of the Merrimack Valley Striders.


Lauren Brown has also joined Cooperstown Environmental LLC as a Project Engineer to assist with the firm’s Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) projects, sustainability, Brownfields redevelopment, and other engineering projects. Lauren is a Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). While at RPI, Lauren had success competing as a member of the cross-country and track and field interscholastic program. Lauren most recently worked as a Field Engineer and Radiation Safety Officer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services in Turkmenistan, Canada, and throughout the United States.  She has volunteer experience in Ecuador, Colombia, and Arizona. She speaks two languages and has completed training in hazardous waste operations, radiation, first aid, Six Sigma, and leadership and management. Lauren is a member of the LSP Association and the Boston Society of Civil Engineers. In her free time, Lauren enjoys studying mushrooms and spending time outside.
