She has more than 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, with an emphasis on hazardous waste assessment and cleanup as well as diagnostic and feasibility studies for improving water quality of reservoirs and ponds. She has substantial experience at numerous Superfund sites throughout New England.
Prior to founding Cooperstown Environmental in 2004, she was employed by CDM for 10 years where she was awarded numerous outstanding performance awards. She later took a position with a small environmental consulting firm, where her work focused primarily on MCP projects and due diligence investigations.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Master of Science in Hazardous Waste Management from Tufts University. She was formerly a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon, both national engineering honor societies.
She enjoys volunteering at the community hospital and local thrift shop, spending time with family and friends and in nature, plus staying active (including a past career as a SPIN instructor).
