Lauren Konetzny
Director of Technical Services
Lauren’s passion for the environmental field was sparked while studying chemical engineering at Northeastern University. For nearly 20 years she has been building on her knowledge of assessment and remediation, becoming a Licensed Site Professional in 2014.
Lauren has managed a wide variety of interesting sites, including gas stations, dry cleaners, commercial/industrial facilities, residences, a former mental hospital, a former sanitarium, and former military facilities. She was a key member of the team that was awarded the 2017 Environmental Business Council Brownfields Project of the Year.
Lauren is an active and involved member of the LSP Association (LSPA). She was a founder and chair of the Emerging Professional Committee and has been a member of the Technical Practices and Legislative Committees. In 2017 she was elected to the LSPA Board, where she served as Clerk.
Outside of work Lauren enjoys seeking out new experiences and spending time with friends and family. Her world travels have taken her to Cambodia, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, the Czech Republic, and throughout the U.S. When she’s closer to home, Lauren enjoys exploring new restaurants, going to live shows, meeting friends for bar trivia, and yoga.
