Mark Maggiore
Sr. Environmental Scientist
An environmental scientist with 16 years of overall experience, Mark has participated in many facets of environmental engineering and consulting. His project experience includes various field investigations on Superfund Sites, former manufactured gas plants (MGP) sites, industrial/commercial, railroad yards, construction oversight, and emergency response spills.
Accomplished in all aspects of field investigations, Mark is proficient in the assessment of various media, such as soil, air, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and sediment. He is knowledgeable in utilizing various drilling techniques to characterize soil and groundwater samples in overburden and bedrock, performing groundwater sampling and collecting indoor air for vapor intrusion. In addition, Mark has performed site investigations and remediation, and participated in a wide range of projects regulated under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) including evaluation and interpretation of field data, and report preparation under the MCP. Mark is certified as an Asbestos Inspector in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mark holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. In his spare time, he is active with his twin children’s extracurricular activities and enjoys running and watching sports.
